It's such a common phrase that we casually use yet most of the time failing to understand its gravity. Right now, the world demands instant gratification. No one wants to wait. No one has the time to wait. Waiting means foolishness. But here's a quote I saw few years ago:
"If you want to know how to be successful, think like a farmer. A farmer knows that he can not expect a harvest if he has not sown any seeds"
A lot of us see the harvest and the price at the end. Our eyes glued to what is to come failing to look down on what needs to be done.
Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with "eyes on the prize" but let me remind of this verse found in Psalm 119:105
"Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path"
The WORD wants us to see what's ahead but the WORD also encourages us to where we are and know how to get there.
Galatians 6:7 says "A man reaps what he sows."
God believes in process. He even went from Day 1 to Day 6 before resting.
That dream can happen. That aspiration can be achieved. But you got to start sowing seeds now. Be it through training, additional learning, accepting rebukes, volunteering, stepping out in faith or whatever that God specifically asks you to do.
Just sow...you'll reap it someday. Never never quit.

"Spend more time in prayer than speculation. Spend more time interceding than choosing sides. Spend more energy loving others than arguing. Get away from the internet, get into the Scripture, go talk with God. Let's ask that he would use this season in our church to make us all more gentle, loving and broken--not more angry, self-righteous and irate. He is in this and he loves everyone involved.
It's a beautiful day outside. I'm going to go take a prayer walk."

Your Daily Word now has Sitelinks!
I just want to Praise the Lord for everything He's doing to Your Daily Word.
I never thought to even have site links to this site! But now (even without me putting much effort to it), God (through google of course) has given this blog this Level Up and truly it came to me as a SURPRISE!
Our God truly is a God of surprises.
How about you? What surprises did God show to or do in you today?
Thank You!

This site has been very blessed with so much blessing from the time it started. I'm not sure if I've shared it with you but when I started this site and wrote my first post, INSTANTLY I got a new follower and a comment on the very first post I made. Check my first post here: Welcome to Your Daily Word
But look at where we at right now? We see 114 Blog Followers, 198 RSS and/or Email Subscribers, 6 Mobile Subscribers and just recently the site got another level up from Google. This site is now PageRank 3 in just 3 months of blogging. And I want to thank all of you who are reading this right now who made this possible. I Praise the Lord for your lives.
Speaking of praising the Lord for this successes, one person actually commented and congratulated me saying "I did a good Job! and then he continued quoting: "You did a good Job but I think the Lord didn't have anything to do with it. He's just too busy to take care of your blog." This statement is completely and utterly FALSE. Clearly, he has a wrong concept of God. We should never forget God is not a man that he gets tired, gets busy or gets sleepy. He in fact is always there for us, watches over us and takes care of us. Always and always the glory belongs to God. And if this site will be made successful (and I believe that He will do it), the glory shall always belong to whom it deserves: My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Back to to the Thanksgiving! Yes, I thank the Lord first and foremost for everything He has done to this blogsite. Second I'd thank all you subscribers that I may not know personally but I pray and declare for God to bless you more and more and for His purposes for your lives to surely come to pass! Thirdly, my family who has always been there for me, supporting me, reading my posts. To my family: I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART! Lastly (but not the least: seriously) are my friends here in the blogosphere. Without them reading and leaving comments and linking back to my site, PAGERANK I think will be impossible. So today, I'm giving LOVE back.
