Challenges in Christian Life

Today, I learned that the biggest challenge we have is not the devil. After all, we're called to victory through Christ who gives us strength. I realized through our Pastor that the greatest challenge is to obey the WORD of GOD even through the challenging times.

You would argue why and how can that be? Firstly, our carnal nature is naturally opposite to what GOD wants us to do. Secondly, it's called a test and a challenge precisely because they're not easy.

Thankfully, even throughout the challenge HE remains to be on his throne. He enables us to soar on wings like eagles. His only desire is to let the glory of GOD be manifested in our lives.

Check out this song from Hillsong that captures this message rightfully.

Lee DeWyze Will be the Next American Idol

I didn't notice him the first time. He started low and humble. But when everyone started to be eliminated and leave, he also started to grow strong and be better. Kara is so right when she said, "You are what this show is all about. Somebody from nothing into becoming something." (not exactly but something like that)

I predict (because I think I'm good with it, remember my prediction for Kris Allen? Check my post here.) that Lee DeWyze Will be the Next American Idol.

He has superb talent, like-able face and great attitude. I'm sure, just what Simon Cowell wishes for him that "He'll make it BIG time!"

Here's "Hallelujah" a song chosen by Simon Cowell and surely he was not disappointed. (take a look at his face)

Savior Please by Josh Wilson | YourSong

While waiting for my Bible Study contact last night I decided to listen to the newly downloaded songs through my phone. When I reached this song (first time to listen to it), it just struck me real hard that I started to be moved by the song that I started crying, giving thanks and praying to God asking him to "keep on saving me" everytime.

The song is true: a lot of times we try to be tough depending on our own strength. We try to just live our lives on our own: solving problems here and there, doing things based on personal logic and rationalization and deciding without even consulting. And most often than not we try failing time and time again.

This is is just the best time for us to go back to our God and surrender to Him once again. Acknowledging without him and apart from Him, we are nothing.

Listen to the song and I hope that you will be blessed by it as I was.
