Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
-Jeremiah 29:12-
Today, I am encouraged to know that when we call on HIM and declare our petitions to HIM; whatever it is, wherever and whenever, GOD SAYS "He Listens".
In this time and age where everybody seeks attention ad everybody seeks affirmation, we have our GOD who's always there to give you HIS 100% attention and focus. He's not busy, He's not checking on his laptop while taking to you or even checking on his social media notifications. He's fully focused on you - no distractions, no other conversations. Yes when you call on HIM, YOU are HIS priority. No need to wait in line. No need for a promo code. He's there now. Waiting for you. Ready to Listen. Ready to Answer.
Let HIS word be an encouragement to you today.

Prayer of a Righteous Man Avails Much
God Has His Own Seasons
How many of us feel that sometimes prayers take a long time to be answered and the promised future is far from sight? It's not a surprise that a lot of us choose to give up and/or start doing things on our own.
Let me remind you that every dream comes from the dream giver. And when we bring it up to HIM, he treasures it and sanctifies it. He doesn't show us how and when He will make it happen but HE will. Don't take me wrong, I'm not saying everything you tell GOD will happen. That mindset is the exact opposite of His Lordship. What I am referring to are those desires that are aligned to HIS will, plan and those that will not lead you away from HIM.
According to the Bible in Ecclesiastes 3:1:
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."
God has his own timetable. Nothing is rushed and nothing is too late.
We must recognize our season and what He's trying to teach us and to be kept assured that He will eventually display HIS wonder before our very eyes.
IS it easy? My point of view - no. Everyone wants things fast. But that's what must set us apart. We are not in a hurry. We should be on time by faith and not by sight.
SO no matter what you're going through, take heart. GOD Knows His Seasons and He has a season for you.
You reap what you sow
It's such a common phrase that we casually use yet most of the time failing to understand its gravity. Right now, the world demands instant gratification. No one wants to wait. No one has the time to wait. Waiting means foolishness. But here's a quote I saw few years ago:
"If you want to know how to be successful, think like a farmer. A farmer knows that he can not expect a harvest if he has not sown any seeds"
A lot of us see the harvest and the price at the end. Our eyes glued to what is to come failing to look down on what needs to be done.
Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with "eyes on the prize" but let me remind of this verse found in Psalm 119:105
"Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path"
The WORD wants us to see what's ahead but the WORD also encourages us to where we are and know how to get there.
Galatians 6:7 says "A man reaps what he sows."
God believes in process. He even went from Day 1 to Day 6 before resting.
That dream can happen. That aspiration can be achieved. But you got to start sowing seeds now. Be it through training, additional learning, accepting rebukes, volunteering, stepping out in faith or whatever that God specifically asks you to do.
Just sow...you'll reap it someday. Never never quit.

Challenges in Christian Life
Today, I learned that the biggest challenge we have is not the devil. After all, we're called to victory through Christ who gives us strength. I realized through our Pastor that the greatest challenge is to obey the WORD of GOD even through the challenging times.
You would argue why and how can that be? Firstly, our carnal nature is naturally opposite to what GOD wants us to do. Secondly, it's called a test and a challenge precisely because they're not easy.
Thankfully, even throughout the challenge HE remains to be on his throne. He enables us to soar on wings like eagles. His only desire is to let the glory of GOD be manifested in our lives.
