It's what the Bible says that matters

"I have what the Bible says I have."

And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Gal. 3:29)

"I can do what the Bible says I can do."

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.(Philippians 4:13)

"I am what the Bible says I am!"

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8: 37-39)

Outside of the Bible are lies and deceptions!

Don't be tricked!

Read the BIBLE and know the TRUTH

And the TRUTH shall set you FREE!

God's Love in You!

1 John 2:15-17 (The Message)
Don't love the world's ways.
Don't love the world's goods.
Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father.
Practically everything that goes on in the world

—wanting your own way,
wanting everything for yourself,
wanting to appear important—
has nothing to do with the Father.

It just isolates you from him.
The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out—

but whoever does what God wants is set for eternity.

It's amazing how different God's Love and Human Love are.

You want to know the secret of a long-lasting relationship and a succesful life?

Have God's LOVE in you!

Unconditional Acceptance

Breakfast at McDonald's

This is a good story and is true, please read it all the way through until the end! (After the story, there are some very interesting facts!):

I am a mother of three (ages 14, 12, 3) and have recently completed my college degree.

The last class I had to take was Sociology.

The teacher was absolutely inspiring with the qualities that I wish every human being had been graced with.

Her last project of the term was called, “Smile.”

The class was asked to go out and smile at three people and document their reactions.

I am a very friendly person and always smile at everyone and say hello anyway. So, I thought this would be a piece of cake, literally.

Soon after we were assigned the project, my husband, youngest son, and I went out to McDonald's one crisp March morning.

It was just our way of sharing special playtime with our son.

We were standing in line, waiting to be served, when all of a sudden everyone around us began to back away, and then even my husband did.

I did not move an inch... an overwhelming feeling of panic welled up inside of me as I turned to see why they had moved.

As I turned around I smelled a horrible 'dirty body' smell, and there standing behind me were two poor homeless men.

As I looked down at the short gentleman, close to me, he was 'smiling'

His beautiful sky blue eyes were full of God's Light as he searched for acceptance......

He said, 'Good day' as he counted the few coins he had been clutching..

The second man fumbled with his hands as he stood behind his friend. I realized the second man was mentally challenged and the blue-eyed gentleman was his salvation.

I held my tears as I stood there with them.

The young lady at the counter asked him what they wanted.

He said, 'Coffee is all Miss' because that was all they could afford. (If they wanted to sit in the restaurant and warm up, they had to buy something. He just wanted to be warm.

Then I really felt it - the compulsion was so great I almost reached out and embraced the little man with the blue eyes.

That is when I noticed all eyes in the restaurant were set on me, judging my every action.

I smiled and asked the young lady behind the counter to give me two more breakfast meals on a separate tray.

I then walked around the corner to the table that the men had chosen as a resting spot. I put the tray on the table and laid my hand on the blue-eyed gentleman's cold hand..

He looked up at me, with tears in his eyes, and said, 'Thank you.'

I leaned over, began to pat his hand and said, 'I did not do this for you. God is here working through me to give you hope.'

I started to cry as I walked away to join my husband and son... When I sat down my husband smiled at me and said, 'That is why God gave you to me, Honey, to give me hope..'

We held hands for a moment and at that time, we knew that only because of the Grace that we had been given were we able to give.

e are not church goers, but we are believers.

That day showed me the pure Light of God's sweet love.

I returned to college, on the last evening of class, with this story in hand.

I turned in 'my project' and the instructor read it.

Then she looked up at me and said, 'Can I share this?'

I slowly nodded as she got the attention of the class.

She began to read and that is when I knew that we as human beings and being part of God share this need to heal people and to be healed.

In my own way I had touched the people at McDonald's, my son,the instructor, and every soul that shared the classroom on the last night I spent as a college student.

I graduated with one of the biggest lessons I would ever learn:

UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE..

Picture from here.

Promises: Are they really made to be Broken?

I'm sure you heard a lot of these lately. For Filipinos, I'm sure you've been bombarded with a lot of these. In every commercial break, you find Politicians advertising themselves. In every front page of a newspaper, surely one part talks about a politician and on what he really plans to do. In every Billboard, or footbridge, we see these as well! And yes, even in Facebook invites from your friends asking you to support these "presidentiables" are everywhere.

Hmm...Can we really trust and believe everything they say? Can we really trust their "promises"?

I hear a resounding, "NO WAY!"

That's understandable.

How many times have we been betrayed by these politicians? We trusted Erap to be for the "mahirap" but the records would say he'd been the most extravagant President this country has had. We trusted GMA in Edsa 2. I can no longer count ho many times she betrayed the Filipino people.

This situation is not just true for politicians. Remember the time that your friend didn't show up on your agreed time? Remember the time that your partner didn't do what he promised to do?

I am a victim of broken promises. I'm sure you are too.

But here's the GOOD NEWS:

2 Corinthians 1:20 (The Message)

20-22Whatever God has promised gets stamped with the Yes of Jesus. In him, this is what we preach and pray, the great Amen, God's Yes and our Yes together, gloriously evident. God affirms us, making us a sure thing in Christ, putting his Yes within us. By his Spirit he has stamped us with his eternal pledge—a sure beginning of what he is destined to complete.

AMAZING!

What does that mean?

It means all promises you can read from the Bible, they can be real in your LIFE!

Just believe and then it will happen!

The politicians, our friends and even our family can fail but Jesus will never fail! Praise the Lord!

Family Day

I received an email today that after reading I thought to myself, I need to share this to my readers.

This is such a beautiful poem that I don't think you need to miss reading. I'm not sure who the author is but go ahead and be reminded with the meaning of the poem!

F A M I L Y

I ran into a stranger as he passed by,
"Oh excuse me please" was my reply.

He said, "Please excuse me too;
I wasn't watching for you."

We were very polite, this stranger and I.
We went on our way and we said goodbye.

But at home a different story is told,
How we treat our loved ones, young and old.

Later that day, cooking the evening meal,
My son stood beside me very still.

When I turned, I nearly knocked him down.
"Move out of the way," I said with a frown.

He walked away, his little heart broken.
I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken.

While I lay awake in bed,
God's still small voice came to me and said,

"While dealing with a stranger,
common courtesy you use,
but the family you love, you seem to abuse.

Go and look on the kitchen floor,
You'll find some flowers there by the door.

Those are the flowers he brought for you.
He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue.

He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise,
you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes."

By this time, I felt very small,
And now my tears began to fall.

I quietly went and knelt by his bed;
"Wake up, little one, wake up," I said.

"Are these the flowers you picked for me?"
He smiled, "I found 'em, out by the tree.

I picked 'em because they're pretty like you.
I knew you'd like 'em, especially the blue."

I said, "Son, I'm very sorry for the way I acted today;
I shouldn't have yelled at you that way."
He said, "Oh, Mom, that's okay.
I love you anyway."

I said, "Son, I love you too,
and I do like the flowers, especially the blue."

FAMILY
Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company
that we are working for could easily replace us in
a matter of days.
But the family we left behind will feel the loss
for the rest of their lives.

And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more
into work than into our own family,
an unwise investment indeed,
don't you think?
So what is behind the story?

Do you know what the word FAMILY means?
FAMILY = (F)ATHER (A)ND (M)OTHER (I) (L)OVE (Y)OU

I think you know what to do.
Go ahead and call (or text) your family and remind them of your love and on how important they are. If they are beside you, you're blessed. Go ahead and hug and kiss them.

Let's declare this as our FAMILY Day! And let it be that everyday be one!

God bless you and your family!

P.S. The picture is me and my family.

Blogger's Unite for Haiti: Pray and Intercede!

On January 12, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti. Join recovery efforts mobilizing around the world to assist earthquake victims.

You can do something to HELP!

Doctors Without Borders is one of the organizations in the best position to provide critical medical care to those affected by this disaster.

Support Doctors Without Borders in Haiti
Google has also collected links and organizations where you can donate and take part as well. Aside from that Google will also donate $1 million to help the victims.

But the most important thing you can do is INTERCEDE for them. A lot of us won't care "that much" and won't even remember to pray. There can be a lot of reasons but one maybe because we're not "directly affected by it. You may agree or not but most if not all of us only draws to GOD when it's our own family, friends or our very selves are affected.

Let's change that! Let's be intercessors for them.

Let's pray for provisions, hope, joy (no matter what), love, understanding (even if it's difficult) and TRUST in GOD! That they can continually hold on to what they believe in or that this situation maybe used by GOD to bring the non-believing to have faith in the TRUE and ONLY GOD who is Jesus Christ.

And that's what "Blogger's Unite" should be all about!

Your Daily Word now has Sitelinks!

I just want to Praise the Lord for everything He's doing to Your Daily Word.

I never thought to even have site links to this site! But now (even without me putting much effort to it), God (through google of course) has given this blog this Level Up and truly it came to me as a SURPRISE!

Our God truly is a God of surprises.

How about you? What surprises did God show to or do in you today?

Why is there HELL?

Anyone of us has asked why would a Loving God create a place like Hell where people are tormented and punished? Why don't we just all go to Heaven and be with Him?

The 11 minute video will explain to you why. The next video, I would say would be the most important 11minutes of your life!

Open your hearts and Listen to God's message!
