Challenges in Christian Life

Today, I learned that the biggest challenge we have is not the devil. After all, we're called to victory through Christ who gives us strength. I realized through our Pastor that the greatest challenge is to obey the WORD of GOD even through the challenging times. 

You would argue why and how can that be? Firstly, our carnal nature is naturally opposite to what GOD wants us to do. Secondly, it's called a test and a challenge precisely because they're not easy.

Thankfully, even throughout the challenge HE remains to be on his throne. He enables us to soar on wings like eagles. His only desire is to let the glory of GOD be manifested in our lives.

Now this is AMAZING! A lot of us complain and get discouraged when persecutions and trials come. When there are problems, we cry out and panic. Just like the disciples when they were on a boat during a storm. But at the end of the day, we see that God allows these things to refine us and to make us the people he designed us to be.
