Last week, I have received a news about a friend who has been diagnosed of breast cancer. Also last week, one of my batch mates from college was rushed to the hospital due to a possible mild stroke. The other day, my Uncle succumbed to the kidney sickness/complications.
These are real. Sickness, Death are real. It's not because we're Christians were immune. Sometimes it's how we take care of our bodies and even "genetically" we can acquire these sicknesses.
I'm writing this not because I have it all sorted out. In fact I'm the first one who should go through that Annual Physical Check up. I feel like I'm taking in more sugar, more carb than I should. So enough of me. Let me go back to my point.
This deadly sicknesses are real and they can happen to your friend, to your family, or to you.
Isn't it amazing to know that even though they're real, our GOD is far better REAL-errrr. (If there's even a word). All these sicknesses were brought about the fall of man and the devil taking over and corrupting our bodies. Thanks be to GOD because through Jesus Christ, we have the power that's far greater than he that is in the world!
Isaiah 53:5"...by HIS wounds, we are healed."
James 5:14-15
"Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven."
So I encourage you to be Prayer Warriors today. Let's defeat the power of "sickness" with the power of GOD through our prayers. Let every sickness be an opportunity for HIS glory to be shown.

Tired? Weary? God has an offer for you
And it's already WEDNESDAY! Woohoo! We're halfway through the week! Who's looking forward to FRIDAY? I AM. 😁😁
I know the feeling. I know the feeling even how much you try to get energised and excited, work and stress have their way of getting into you.
This is why, fellowship with the LORD should not be limited to Sunday Services. What you received on a Sunday can't last until next Sunday. You need nourishment everyday - and that is why this blog is rightly named Your Daily Word.
Today let me encourage with the word found in Isaiah 40:29:
Mind you this offer is on a daily basis and it's unlimited. It's not like a energy booster that fires you up for 15 minutes and drains you afterwards. This offer is a continuous, always available kind of offer.
The only thing that's needed is for you to approach HIS throne and fellowship with HIM. So go ahead, before you do anything, approach HIM. He's waiting.
Does God love you? Here's the answer
For even if the mountains walk away
and the hills fall to pieces,
My love won’t walk away from you,
my covenant commitment of peace won’t fall apart.
The God who has compassion on you says so.

Christian Single Guy: that's what I am!
No, I'm not posting this because it's Valentine's Day. No! I'm not even posting this because I'm looking for a date. Absolutely Not! I'm not posting to broadcast that I'm a Christian single guy. It may seem that way but that's not my intention. (jokes)
Seriously...
The main reason I'm posting this is to share this song to everyone single or couples and hopefully it can touch them as it has touched me so much, taught me and rebuked me.
A lot of us especially the young ones are so used to instant and fast. That's why even in Love we want it fast right now! But that's not the right way. Maybe the easiest way but not the best.
The Bible says in Isaiah 40:31,
"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
It's important to wait!
